Some not so low budget, low budget art.

Ok, so I spent the last two years battling my wife and everyone else's pressure to upgrade my phone to some kinda smart phone. I've used the same old clamshell style forever. I loved it; it worked-- it dialed out, it received calls…I could even text on it.
Well, the inevitable day of the upgrade finally shows up, and we (my wife and I) head to our local cell phone shop, where I come to find out that the phone I so dearly love isn't available and hasn't been for a couple of years. So I tell the guy at the counter that I'm really not interested in paying a couple of hundred bucks for a phone. That's when he tells me that I can have an iphone for free.
 Free??? Really???
I guess that fits my budget. So I get this Little Black Box of Distraction home, plug it in and let it charge. I'm a photographer, and I've heard some neat stuff about this iphone thing, so while it was charging I decided to look some stuff up. Needless to say, I was a little blown away by the amount of stuff I found on the interweb. My favorite site for using the iphone as a creative tool was written by a guy named Justin Balog http://www.hossedia.com/iphone-photography-tutorial/ . Tons of cool info and some really good work. I found it inspirational and educational.
So now to the point: after being super resistant to the whole Iphone craze, and after a little playing around, I've discovered that the Little Black Box of Distraction (henceforth known as the L.B.B.D) is quite a fun little creative tool. It's pocket sized, travels anywhere I do, and still confuses and baffles me.
Here are some of the images I've created since adopting this thing.

So stay creative my friends, and do what you can with what you have.
